As Head of Portfolio Strategy, Ryan partners with client families, Family Offices, and their outside advisors to develop and implement Strategic Asset Allocations across both liquid and illiquid markets. He also leads Mosaic’s diligence and allocation process for illiquid investments, evaluating opportunities across equity and credit, from direct deals to third-party funds.

Ryan brings more than 15 years of portfolio management experience to Mosaic. Before joining the firm, he focused on equity research for Salient Partners on the Energy Infrastructure team, responsible for bottom-up analysis of publicly traded energy companies.

Ryan graduated from the University of Texas at Austin with a Bachelor of Arts in Economics and a minor in Business Administration. He holds both the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA®) and Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst (CAIA®) designations, and is a member of the CFA Society of Houston and the Texas chapter of the CAIA Association.

Ryan and his wife have three children, which keeps life fun and spontaneous. Outside the office, he enjoys trying new restaurants, watching college football, cycling, and swimming.
