Jay co-founded Mosaic and serves as Partner Emeritus. Now retired from his day-to-day responsibilities, he still assists the firm with special projects as well as sharing Mosaic’s “story” with prospective clients and their professional advisors. Prior to forming Mosaic, Jay spent nearly three decades with some of the most influential firms on Wall Street.

A native Houstonian who attended St. John’s School, Jay graduated from Sarah Lawrence College in Bronxville, N.Y., where he majored in both economics and international relations. An avid learner, he also earned his CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ mark after completing course work at Rice University.

Jay is still involved with his alma mater, having served in various alumnae roles over the years. In addition, he and his wife are dedicated supporters of several animal related charities in the Houston area. In his spare time, he likes to work out, travel, and is an avid follower of Houston sports teams.
